Biography
Zhouzhou Pan is a postdoc in the department of engineering science of the University of Oxford since October 2021. He received his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University and obtained his Ph.D. degree from the City University of Hong Kong.
His research focuses on the multiphysics modeling of advanced materials; damage and fracture mechanics in advanced materials; design optimization of composite materials and structures; extreme mechanics of rods, films, and shells, such as buckling, wrinkling, and post-buckling. He has published more than 15 papers in peer-reviewed international journals such as Journal of the Mechanics and Physics of Solids (JMPS), Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering (CMAME), Applied Mathematical Modelling (AMM), Composite Structures (CS), etc.
