Biography
Dr Yuhan Huang is currently a CSIRO International Hydrogen Research Collaboration Fellow at the Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford, United Kingdom. He is also a DECRA Fellow and Senior Lecturer at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia. He received his BEng degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 2011 and PhD degree from UTS in 2017. After his PhD, Dr Huang joined UTS as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow during Feb 2017 to Dec 2021, a Chancellor's Research Fellow during Jan to May 2022, a DECRA Fellow and Lecturer from Jun 2022 to Jun 2023, and a Senior Lecturer since Jul 2023 to present. Meanwhile, he was also a Visiting Research Fellow at the Jockey Club Heavy Vehicle Emissions Testing and Research Centre in Hong Kong during 2017 to 2019.
Dr Huang's research interests include computational fluid dynamics, air quality, urban planning, vehicle emissions, and renewable energies. He has published over 70 papers in the leading journals in his field such as Nature Sustainability, Science Advances, Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews, and Environmental Pollution. As of Sep 2023, he has obtained total citations of over 2100 and an h-index of 26 in Google Scholar. He has been listed as a World Top 2% Scientist by the Stanford University in 2022.
He is currently an Associate Editor of Frontiers in Environmental Science and Frontiers in Energy Research. He has also been a Guest Editor of several other journals, such as Environmental Research, Ecological Indicators, Energies, and Atmosphere. He has led or participated in 15 research projects, in total accounting for over AU$2M, such as ARC DECRA, CSIRO H2Int, HK RGC and HK ITF.
