Biography
Moritz is a DPhil student at the University of Oxford and funded by the EPSRC CDT in Health Data Science. He is based in the Computational Health Informatics (CHI) Lab, where he is supervised by Professor Tingting Zhu and Professor Peter Watkinson.
Moritz's research is concerned with inferring the causal effects of interventions using machine learning. Before coming to Oxford, he completed his bachelor’s degree in physics at the University of Munich, followed by a master's degree at Imperial College London. Throughout his studies, he also gained experience outside of research and undertook internships in finance and consulting.
