Biography

Tejo Jehart is a DPhil candidate in the Thermal Propulsion Systems Research Group, funded by an EPSRC Prosperity Partnership between the University of Oxford, Jaguar & Land Rover, the University of Bath, and Siemens.

Tejo has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maribor, Slovenia, and an MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures from Imperial College London. During his BSc, he specialised in Energy, Process and Environmental Engineering and spend more than 3 years as an active member of the UNI Maribor Grand Prix Engineering Formula Student team. His roles in the team included a technical leader, as well as an exhaust system engineer.

Tejo spent one year as a placement design engineer at AB Dynamics. His work involved updating the design of existing components and creating new design proposals. Most notably he worked on a development version of the Suspension Parameter Measurement Machine and a prototype of a riderless autonomous motorbike.

Research Interests

  • Internal combustion engines
  • Wall heat transfer
  • Thermal swing coatings
  • Heat flux and surface temperature measurements
  • Heat flux computational modelling
