Biography
Md. Humayain Kabir is a PhD candidate at the Wegener Center for Climate and Global Change, University of Graz, Austria. He holds two MScs, one in Climate Change from the University of East Anglia, UK (Commonwealth Scholar) and one in Environmental Science from University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. He also obtained a post-graduate certificate in Integrated Coastal Management from AIT, Thailand, and a Diploma in Project Management from the International Business Management Institute, Germany.
Mr. Kabir is highly trained from many universities including the 5 of top ten universities in the world. He is one of twenty-five climate scientists who attended into the NASA summer school. Currently, he is leading a research group of 20 members from 3 continents and working on interdisciplinary research on climate change. Apart from academic activities, he is a motivator, climate action fellow, mentor of MIT Solve, climate coach, and mentor of climate reality project.
