Biography
Martin Wachiye Wafula received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Telecommunication and Information Engineering (First-Class Honours) at the Multimedia University of Kenya, then a constituent college of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) in 2018. He joined PricewaterhouseCoopers Ltd Kenya as an associate in the IT risk assurance business unit for slightly over a year. Currently, he is reading for a DPhil in Engineering Science under Prof. Justin P. Coon's supervision in the Oxford Communications Research Group.
Research Interests
• Graph compression: Interested in the
information-theoretic formalism for the
lossless and lossy compression of random
graphs
• Topology discovery in networks such as
the internet of things (IoT).
• Next-Generation Wireless Networks

- To develop an information-theoretic framework for lossy compression of graphs.
