Biography
Dr Callum Cuttle is a postdoctoral researcher in The Department of Engineering Science, working in the Poromechanics laboratory. He joined Prof. Chris MacMinn's group in 2020 as the experimental lead on the ERC-funded project DEFTPORE. His work combines precise benchtop experiments with reduced order mathematical modeling and numerical methods.
Research Interests
- Gas compression-driven displacement flows
- Pattern forming multi-phase flows
- Fluid-structure interactions
- Soft porous media
- Ocular science and glaucoma treatment
Current Projects
Callum is currently employed on the DEFTPORE project, examining fundamental aspects of flows in highly deformable soft, porous media.
