Biography
Mr Bob Yang is undergoing a DPhil in Bioengineering at the University of Oxford under Prof Eleanor Stride [OBE] and is also a Urology Consultant at Royal Berkshire Hospital. He specialises in Complex and Recurrent Urinary Tract Infections, Male and Female Incontinence, Sacral Neuromodulation and Functional Urology.
Alongside these roles, he serves as an Associate Lecturer at Oxford University Medical School and is the Director for the American Urological Association Male Incontinence course.
Mr Yang completed his surgical training in Oxford and Wessex, as well as the Duke of Cornwell Specialist Spinal Unit and Southampton Children’s Hospital.
He graduated from Imperial College London with first-class honours, 5 distinctions, 3 academic prizes and was ranked in the top 5 in UK national selections.
Mr Yang’s research interests are on incontinence, urinary tract infections and functional urology, in particular on the new Uromune UTI vaccine and male incontinence devices.
He is also the Lead Editor for two academic textbooks on Urinary Tract Infections and Male Incontinence published by Springer-Nature.
