Biography
Veronica Lucian graduated summa cum laude from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2022, obtaining a BS in Life Science with a minor in Nuclear Science. Her undergraduate research focused on novel synthesis techniques for biocompatible conductive aerogels and cell alignment in tissue engineering applications. She joined BUBBL in October 2022 as a DPhil student under the joint supervision of Prof Constantin Coussios and Prof Malavika Nair. Her project focuses on utilising ultrasound to engineer vascularised skin constructs.
Veronica is funded by a Rhodes scholarship.
