Biography
Hermione is a DPhil student in the Department of Engineering supervised by Professor Konstantinos Kamnitsas.
Their work focuses on generating radiology reports from medical images. They are particularly interested in reducing hallucinations in language models to improve the reliability and clinical accuracy for healthcare settings.
Prior to joining the IBME, Hermione earned an Integrated Masters degree in Physics from the University of Manchester and undertook several internships in the field of healthcare research, both with the NHS and industry.
