Biography
Fenglin Liu is a DPhil/PhD student at the University of Oxford, where he is supervised by Professor David Clifton. He is a Clarendon Scholar at Oxford and a member of Magdalen College.
Previously, he studied at Peking University. He has published papers at premier journals and conferences in machine learning and served on many review committees for the same venues. He was awarded the status of Distinguished/Outstanding Reviewer for CVPR, AAAI, and IJCAI.
Research Interests
Fenglin's DPhil focuses on exploring the "warm start" of algorithmic development using data from analogous, but different, diseases from the very large repositories of data available, such that tools can be ready to deploy within 1-2 weeks of encountering a new pandemic.
