Biography
Justin's DPhil candidature examines the flow present in hypersonic shock tubes, utilising reduced order methods for solution of thermo-chemical non-equilibrium stagnation problems. His research has particular relevance on slower reacting flows such as those experienced by spacecraft entering Mars, Titan and the ice giants. He also has keen interests in non-equilibrium boundary layers, and chemical kinetic models.
